New member and a couple ?s

Postby blue3c » July 25th, 2010, 9:59 am

Hey everyone just figured I'd introduce myself and ask a couple questions!
First off my names Joe, I'm 21 and from Rhinelander. I recently bought an 06 midnight blue 300C in march and am loving it! Lol couple weeks later the mod bug bite and bought a predator, now iv got an airhammer, 180tstat, blasting bobs, and JBA shorties. For show iv got srt lips spoiler, billet tech badges, billet tech under hood kit, billet tech shifter bezel, and GTS headlight/ foglight covers.lol and soon to come a BT catch can and some other BT stuff.
so hopefully I can be able to make It to some gatherings in the future and meet some of you!
Got a quick question too, has anyone had any excperience with D&D automotive in the plover/ Stevens point area? I'm having my sidewinder installed by them just wondering if anyones delt with them. Thanks and look forward to meeting some of you!

Welcome to club cow, we need more 300's on here. sounds like you got the mod bug bad! LOL guessing from the mod list you must be on another LX Base forum. as for the shop. I have no idea on that one. to far away from me.

if you got any post some pics.

also I have family in the woodruff / minocqua area I grew up there, so I get up there from time to time.

lol yes the mod bug has bitten bad! haha
I'm also a member of the LX forums under the same username so thats where i'v been getting most of my information on the car and other stuff.
I'm having my sidewinder cam and all the supporting mods Installed by D&D, so thats why I asked if anyones delt with them. they have an in house dyno and are diablosport certified tuners also. I spoke with the guy that does there performance work and he seems very knowledgable but dont know if he's ever done any work on hemis so I guess I'll see how good he is. He quoted me a little over $1200 for labor as i'm supplying all the parts, and he also said under 2k with dyno tuning. does that seem right?

some pics
1st one is of me and my dads cars, Mine is in the red, 92 Dodge Stealth R/T and my dads is a 91 R/T Twin Turbo
I sold it to buy my 300 and boy do I still miss it! lol

Thanks for the compliments guys!
the reason I was going to take it to D&D is they're closer as west bend is quite a haul for me but if its a good bit cheaper and in good hands I'm all for it! lol I'v had the parts for almost a month and been itching to have them in the car! I'd put it in myself but im new to V8s so id sooner take it somewehere and have it done right. it took me 12hrs to install headers so who knows how long it'd take me to install a cam. lol
