Postby 05ballin300 » July 26th, 2010, 10:29 am

so, I just took my car to the stealership in appleton, kolosso, and had them check out my tranny fluid. I thought it was low but they told me it was burnt....so....im getting a flush today up in abrams but what are the possibilities that might cause burnt fluid...and can i get away with a flush? please don't ruin my day and tell me i need a rebuild costing me 2-4 grand.........

well... i dont want to ruin your day so i probably shouldnt say anything

does it shift ok? if it does, get a flush and run it till it dies which, if you take care of it could be many years

it could be burnt from something slipping or the trans overheating or both...
